Best Mattress is fully committed to making sure our customers are comfortable on their new bed. If during the first 30 days following delivery, a customer feels his or her bed is too soft, too firm, or does not fit their body properly the customer may choose to have Best Mattress make a comfort adjustment to their new mattress.
Within the first 30 days the customer can call or email to describe their concerns about comfort of their new bed. Once notified, Best Mattress will call to discuss the client’s needs and determine how much firmer/softer to adjust the mattress. Best Mattress will schedule an appointment time to pick up and return the mattress. Over 90% of clients in the Columbia Metro area will receive their mattress back the same day.
The fee for comfort adjustment of the existing mattress is $99.95 – $225.00 depending on model and size. Customers outside the Metro Columbia area will be required to transport the mattress to our factory or we can recommend a shipping service that charges a fee based on mileage. Customers who have a pickup truck and are willing to drop off and pick up their mattress will be able to have the comfort adjustment fee reduced or eliminated completely depending on the model adjusted.
Should one of our customers decide in the first 30 days to change to a more expensive model the customer would simply pay the retail price difference plus delivery.
Should one of our customers decide to downgrade to a less expensive model, the customer does not receive any refund of the price difference. We will make the re-delivery and exchange without a delivery fee if it is in the Columbia Metro area.
It is important for all customers to understand that minor body impressions in the surface of the mattress are perfectly normal. No mattress currently made in the U.S. will remain perfectly flat on the surface forever. The softer body conforming surface of today’s very comfortable mattresses are designed to follow the individual contour of each persons shape; which will cause a slight comfort wrinkle or surface impressions to the top layer of the mattress. These impressions of less than one inch are considered normal.
In the very unlikely event that the impressions becomes greater than one inch during the 8 to 10 year warranty period, the mattress will be replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer. Clients outside the greater Columbia SC area may be required to ship their mattress back to us for the free warranty service if we do not have a scheduled truck in your area.
