The Hotel Trundle has an ultra luxurious feel, pressure-relieving comfort, deep firm support, and no motion transfer for couples. The Quantum edge-encased coil design provides the base layer – firm and supportive – and a transition layer provides medium support to allow our use of a soft, pressure-relieving layer of memory foam beneath the surface.
Two years ago we began working with the husband and wife team opening the new small Boutique Hotel – Hotel Trundle here in Columbia. Their instructions to us were simple- design the most comfortable mattress available anywhere and make it with materials sourced here in the southeast. Five design prototypes and comfort tests from the hotel owners later the Hotel Trundle mattress set was born. There are too many small details to list here but the major components are: Over 1000 individually wrapped coils with edge-to-edge support, no motion transfer for couples who have a partner who is a wiggle worm. Three layers of cushioning highlighted by a layer of open cell soy based memory foam- impossibly soft stetch quilted fabric surface.
Mattress is single sided non flip design 13″ in thickness.
The Foundation is available in 2″, 4″, 7″ or – at extra cost – a 10″ model
