Best Mattress is fully committed to making sure our customers are comfortable on their new bed. If during the first 30 days following delivery, you feel your bed is too soft, too firm, or does not fit your body properly, you may choose to have Best Mattress make a comfort adjustment to your new mattress.

Within the first 30 days, you can call or email to describe your concerns about the comfort of your new bed. We will call to discuss your needs and determine how much firmer or softer to adjust the mattress. Best Mattress will schedule an appointment time to pick up and return your custom mattress, with over 98% of our Columbia Metro area clients will receive their mattress back the same day and there is no charge if it is during the first 30 days . We routinely extend the Comfort Warranty for clients who have been traveling during that time period or who have special circumstances .If you read our Google reviews you can see that we always try to go Above and Beyond for our clients.

Clients outside the Midlands Columbia SC  can call to see if we have a regularly scheduled trip to their city and if so we can arrange a pick up ( there may be a small Pick Up -Delivery fee involved depending on the City / Area )

Clients in outlying Cities or areas in SC would be required to transport the mattress back to our small factory and if we receive it by 10 AM we will have it completed and ready for pick up by 4–4:30 PM  Same Day–No Charge

Charges for Comfort Warranty outside Normal Time Period 30–45 days 

We occasionally have clients who want us to adjust their mattress Softer or Firmer in periods from a few months after purchase to 5 years or more after purchase. Since we are a small factory, we take these rare cases individually and charges can range from zero in special circumstances for those less than 1 year old to $250.00 or possibly more  for someone with a 5-7 year old model. A small pick up and delivery fee of $49-$99 may be applied depending on where in the Columbia Metro area the client resides.

What if I Want to Change to Another Model?

Should you decide in the first 30 days to change to a more expensive model, you simply pay the retail price difference plus delivery. If you want to downgrade to a less expensive model, we can’t refund the price difference. However, we will make the re-delivery and exchange without a delivery fee if you are located in the Columbia Metro area.

What About Body Impressions?

It is important to understand that minor body impressions in the surface of the mattress are perfectly normal. No mattress currently made in the U.S. will remain perfectly flat on the surface forever. The softer, body-conforming surface of today’s custom mattresses are designed to follow the individual contour of each person’s shape. This will inevitably cause a slight comfort wrinkle or surface impressions to the top layer of the mattress. Impressions of less than one inch are considered normal.

In the very unlikely event that the impressions become greater than one inch during the 8 – 10-year warranty period, the mattress will be replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer. Clients outside the greater Columbia, South Carolina area may be required to ship their mattress back to us for the free warranty service if we do not have a scheduled truck in your area.
